Cindy brings over 26 years of operational management experience to the GMS management team. Her experience in the computer education marketplace ensures that innovative learning products and services “go to market” effectively and profitably. As an established operations manager, Cindy has had P&L responsibility for over 20 years, which has shaped her expertise in resource planning and product deployment. Prior to joining GMS, Cindy served as Regional Operations Manager for SHL Systemhouse and consulted as General Manager for smaller specialized computer education firms.

With over 25 years of IT experience Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to GMS. Prior to joining GMS, Gary built and sold a successful multisite, multinational IT training company with revenues in excess of $4M per year. Before starting his own training business Gary was recognized as one of the most technical IT instructors while working for leading IT training institutions. Gary’s technical knowledge, management skills and experience allow him to guide customers and developers to create the solutions that they both desire, ultimately making technology easier to use.

Tannis has been managing technical and training services for 17 years. She has worked in online learning, technical support and software development organizations where she was responsible for managing, hiring and training teams of highly skilled technical professionals and trainers. Tannis joined GMS in 2013 as the Director of Quality Assurance and Training and became the Director of Front Line Operations in 2014. She is keenly interesting in continually improving our support, through tools, efficiencies and coaching to provide both the best end user experience and provide a rewarding work experience with constant learning and growth for our team.

Lisa Pitre started her career in education; teaching middle and high school students. An interest in technology soon developed into a passion and she began to take classes and hone her troubleshooting skills. Her career path changed slightly; she started teaching technology to college students. She then joined Global Mentoring Solutions first as a front-line agent and worked her way up in the ranks. Her unique combination of a love of technology, a love of teaching, and the understanding of what it takes to work the front lines makes her efficient in her role as Technical Supervisor and Managed Services Partner Technical Liaison.

John Chenoweth

John Chenoweth is a veteran sales and marketing professional with 23 years’ experience in systems, sales, education, marketing and channel management positions with IBM Canada Ltd. As National Marketing Programs Manager, from 1997 to 2004, John was responsible for the development, communication and management of an extensive portfolio of marketing, incentive and training programs for IBM’s PC and Server Division’s direct sales force and channel partners across Canada.

John was the creator and driving force behind “Know Your IBM”, an innovative web-based training and sales incentive program for channel partners that was adopted by IBM on a worldwide basis, in over 10 languages throughout North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific, and received numerous international awards for marketing innovation and excellence.

Between IBM and joining GMS in 2008, John was an independent marketing and business development consultant working with small and medium sized businesses in the services and information technology management sectors.

It is good to finally work with a company who makes replying to their partners, and their partner’s clients a priority!
